Ugh! This day was so good! Their wedding day was one of those days you just want to be outside forever and never go in. It’s those days that seem to move at a better pace and rhythm than the rest of the days in life…and you just want it to last a bit longer.
If you know me well, I am a “detail” girl. There is so much planning and thought that goes into the small things on a wedding day and Louis + Karen’s day was full of them. Shout out to Karen on all that planning. I’ve never seen a burgundy suit worn as well as Louis either!
Karen + Louis live in Holdrege and have a beautiful connection of love and unity. Their day was surrounded by so many breathe taking moments. Karen + Louis had their first look amongst a field of red leaves in the fall and spent the rest of the day outside amongst the rustling of leaves. During their ceremony even you could hear faint noises coming from the trees as the leaves silently fell to the ground. If I had time or was good at poetry I would have written a poem…but instead I took pictures which suited me just fine.
We had a blast taking photos at the Union Station in Holdrege and then partied hard at the Holdrege City Auditorium.
So many happy moments, joy and best wishes to the new Mr. + Mrs. Strydom.
Love, Deana
